The Retro Festival in Bad Hofgastein brings festival vibes to the slopes - in the middle of the OFF Spring season in Gastein, when winter, sun, pleasure and springtime feelings merge into a special lifestyle feeling.
While party people celebrate on the Schlossalm, families in Angertal enjoy relaxed vacation moments between mountains, beats and spring sunshine.
And the best thing about it: the Retro Festival is free.
All DJ sets and concerts can be attended free of charge - all you have to do is get to the festival area at the Schlossalm mountain station, either with a day ski ticket or an ascent & descent ticket.

In the middle of the Gastein Valley , Bad Hofgastein becomes the stage for the retro festival. Alpine scenery, urban festival spots and genuine feel-good moments are combined between the lively town center, the Schlossalm mountain station and the Angertal valley .
The Retro Festival is part of OFF Spring - that special time in Gastein when winter is still in top form on the mountain and spring can already be felt in the valley.
Whether dancing at the open-air stage at Hirsch & Maus, relaxing chill-out Sundays in the Alpentherme or action in the snow in the family area - Bad Hofgastein offers variety for every festival feeling. The combination of mountain panorama, short distances and versatile locations makes the town unique.

The party weekends at the Retro Festival transform the Schlossalm and the hippest locations such as Hirsch & Maus and the Schlossalmbahn mountain station into a pulsating center full of retro disco vibes. From open-air stages and energetic DJ sets to the after-party in the valley, music, style and joie de vivre combine to create an unforgettable experience. Sun on the terrace during the day, beats, dancing and partying in the evening - this is the place to say goodbye to winter in style and celebrate spring.

The festival site at the Schlossalm mountain station is easy to reach by cable car. To get up the mountain, you will need either a ski day pass if you would like to combine the festival with a day on the slopes, or a single pedestrian ticket.

With a recognizable retro outfit, the day ticket is available atthe Schlossalm, Angertal and Stubnerkogelticket offices for € 67.00 instead of € 78.50.
Important: Accessories such as glasses or a cap alone do not count as an outfit - our ticket office team will take a close look.
