Tanz:Fest Gastein
Dancing revitalizes, energizes, rejuvenates, inspires, and brings a wealth of joy to life. That’s exactly the spirit you’ll experience at Tanz:Fest Gastein.
The Tanz:Fest Gastein events are more than just a festival: they are celebrations of dance, multi-day dance events, and—for many guests—a special dance vacation in Austria. Four times a year , dance enthusiasts—singles, couples, beginners, and advanced dancers—gather in Bad Hofgastein to discover new dance styles, deepen their knowledge of familiar ones, and experience unforgettable evenings of dancing.
Tanz:Fest Gastein Winter and Summer Editions feature workshops for dance couples covering everything from Standard and Latin to Discofox, Boogie & Lindy Hop, Salsa & West Coast Swing. Top dance instructors and trainers ensure unforgettable dance experiences. The evening events offer plenty of opportunities to dance, and each one promises to be a social highlight in its own right.
Tanz:Fest Gastein Line Dance Edition — a must for all line dance fans. Both modern line dance and country line dance are on the program. Evening line dance parties and plenty of choreographies from our internationalline dance instructors.
Swing Valley Festival, dedicated entirely to West Coast Swing. The West Coast Swing community can look forward to plenty of workshops with top instructors from around the world, beginner boot camps, and social dance parties. It’s both a social event and a WSDC competition event.
What makes the Tanzfest Gastein events special: Away from the dance floor, there’s time for the mountains, thermal baths, relaxation, and genuine vacation moments. Tanz:Fest Gastein - Summer Edition
The Tanz:Fest Gastein Summer Edition offers you a wide-ranging dance program. The dance teachers from Tanzschule Chris from Vienna, Tanzschule Zentz from Saarland, Tanzstern Salzburg and Tanzschule Seidel from Singen will ensure your dance progress and unforgettable dance experiences in Gastein, where the perfect summer vacation awaits you. New trainers are Patrick Seebauer and Julia Kaufmann from UTSC Dance Unity and known from Dancing Stars as well as Michael Geißler from Saalfelden.
The Tanz:Fest Summer Edition combines workshops in indoor locations or on the mountain, relaxation and alpine vacation moments to create a special dance vacation in Austria: versatile workshops, inspiring trainers, atmospheric events in the evening or a few relaxing hours in the Alpentherme Gastein.

With workshops from Standard and Latin to Discofox, Swing & Lindy Hop, Salsa & West Coast Swing - there are plenty of opportunities to try your hand. The dance instructors from the Chris Dance School in Vienna , the Zentz Dance School in Saarland by Benny and Anastasia Zentz, the Tanzstern Salzburg and the Seidel Dance School in Singen guarantee your dancing progress and provide unforgettable dance experiences in a breathtaking winter setting.
