The CALL Film Festival brings film stars and Reinhold Messner to Bad Hofgastein.
From May 28 to 31, the CALL Film Festival will take place for the first time in Bad Hofgastein. With numerous national and international stars, legends, a clear thematic direction – “Movies with a Cause”, cinema with a message, and films with a purpose – and the world's first film retrospective on border crosser Reinhold Messner.
A star lineup like the Gastein Valley hasn’t seen in a long time: Two exciting program focuses will be at the center of the first CALL Film Festival 2026, which will take place from May 28 to 31 in Bad Hofgastein:
“CALL for Nature” and “CALL for Peace”, two of the most important issues of our time. Bad Hofgastein is expecting a multitude of prominent personalities who will present films or engage with the audience on stage, during discussions, and in masterclasses.
