The sun at your back, the untracked slopes before your eyes and the joy of life in your heart - March is the best time for ski connoisseurs in Gastein. From March 15 to 22, 2025, culinary highlights meet gourmet skiing in Dorfgastein. Numerous gourmet events take place during the Wine and Pleasure Week. The highlights of the week
Sunday, March 16
On Sunday, March 13th, folk music groups will be playing at all Dorfgastein ski huts to ensure a good atmosphere.
There will also be a ski test by Fischer Sports together with Sport Egger. The best ski models will be available for testing at the mountain station of the Gipfelbahn - Fulseck. The Holleis ski school offers free technique tips from trained ski instructors.
Tuesday, March 18
The culinary torchlight hike takes you at dusk from the valley station of the summit lift in Dorfgastein across the fields to the farms in Mayrhofen, where the local bakers await the arriving guests with delicious meat doughnuts and numerous other delicacies.
Thursday, March 20
At the gondola dinner, you will travel on the Gipfelbahn - Fulseck through the idyllic mountain scenery at night while you are served a delicious 4-course menu.
Two or four of you can experience a unique evening above the rooftops of Dorfgastein.
Friday, March 21
At the Flying Wine & Dine Buffet in the Dorfgasteiner Festsaal, the focus of the evening is on exchange, entertainment and, of course, the enjoyment of wonderful Austrian wines.
