The ball course stretches 700 meters from the middle station into the nearby forest and back again. The valley mascot Gasti is waiting to challenge the players' skills at 7 different stations. The wooden ball can be purchased for 2 euros either at the ticket office in the valley or at the ball machine in the middle station. At each station there is a detailed explanation and a pen to enter the points scored on the score card.
It remains exciting right to the end. Because at the last station, with a bit of luck, you can double the points you have already scored.
Tip for connoisseurs: The Wengeralm and the Reiterhütte provide refreshments and are only a few steps away from Gasti's ball course!
The ball course is located right next to the midway station of the Fulseck summit cable car. The approximately 700-meter-long loop winds through the adjacent forest and back to the midway station.
The ball course is about 700 meters long. You should plan on spending about 45 minutes to complete the course. Depending on how long you spend at each station, your visit may take longer.
There is no set minimum or maximum age for the ball course. It’s the perfect family activity where young and old alike can have fun together.
The balls are available for €2 at the ticket office of the Dorfgastein Mountain Railways and at a vending machine at the mid-station. They are also sold at the Reiterhütte and the Wengeralm.
