From July to August, every Friday at the onset of twilight, a small ensemble from the Salzburg Philharmonic will perform a “Chamber Concert Open Air.” As the moon follows its path in the evening sky and ducks make their last rounds at the pond, the gentle sounds of violin, cello, double bass, and viola will weave around the branches of birches and willows, caressing the sculptures. Nature and music intertwine to form a great whole, musicians and audience seem to breathe in harmony, hearts beating in the same rhythm.
Program details can be found in our Classical:Summer brochure.
IN CASE OF RAIN, IN THE KURSAAL.
