Art on Snow Gastein

The unique winter art festival in the Gastein Valley

 

Gastein will once again be transformed into a unique cultural hotspot from 4 to 10 February 2023. At the largest art festival in the Alps, interested people can admire large and small works made of snow and ice. The extraordinary sculptures will be on display in the ski res orts on the one hand and in the Gastein towns of Dorfgastein, Bad Hofgastein and Bad Gastein on the other.
And the best thing is, the studios are outdoors - in the winter fairytale landscape of Gastein.

With sculptures, photo exhibitions, paintings, sculptures and innovative multimedia installations, there has already been an enormous range at the art festival in Salzburg Land in previous years. And this time, too, the artists are coming up with many spectacular and creative works on the theme of time travel . Snow and ice will be pressed, milled, chiseled and polished for the Winter Art Festival in Gastein.
