Where better for a refreshment stop during your day on the slopes than one of Gastein's ski huts!
Sit out in the sun, treat yourself to a poppy-seed dumpling and a glass of "ski water", and enjoy the views. After logging your first few kilometers on the pistes in the morning, the food on your plate is certain to taste twice as good. In Gastein, our countless ski huts promise a selection of mouth-watering highlights, from quick snacks, to trendy favorites and meals designed by gourmet chefs. Most of the ingredients they use, incidentally, are either home-produced or come from the immediate region.
The newly rebuilt mountain restaurant Kleine Scharte, with stunning panoramic views over the Gastein valley at 2050m, is located in the mountain station of the Schlossalm aerial cableway.
The Graukogelalm is located at 1.474m and a cozy stop - both in summer and winter.
