Visitors Highlights - adidas TERREX INFINITE TRAILS

From 6 to 8 September 2024, Gastein in Salzburger Land will once again be transformed into a hotspot for trail runners from all over the world.

The adidas TERREX INFINITE TRAILS will attract 1500 runners from 59 nations to Salzburger Land. Under the motto #celebratethesport, they celebrate the unique mountain world in which they run and the special community that has formed around this event.

As a spectator, you can experience this international trail run event up close - whether early in the morning at the start from 6.00 a.m. in the Alpenarena in Bad Hofgastein or along the race routes through the impressive Gastein mountains. For all early risers there is free coffee and croissant at the start (while stocks last).

Expo Area

In the start and finish area in the Alpenarena there is an Expo Area with products from adidas TERREX, adidas Eyewear, ArchMax, Leki and Intersport Fleiss.

Food and drink will also be well catered for.

Free public transport into the valley and to the trails

7 September is petrol-free day in SalzburgerLand. This means that spectators can use all public transport (including ÖBB) free of charge on race day to get to and from Gastein. You can also travel from place to place within the valley free of charge on the Postbuses and cheer on the numerous trail runners on the mountain or at the many refreshment stations.

From mountain to mountain with the Wanderschaukelticket

On race day, all spectators have the opportunity to purchase a hiking swing ticket from the Gastein cable cars to travel comfortably along the various race courses. With just one ticket you can use the Schlossalmbahn, the Kaserebenbahn, the Senderbahn, the Stubnerkogelbahn and the Graukogel lifts. For INFINITE TRAILS friends & family, the ticket is available at a reduced price of € 29.50. However, the ticket must be purchased online by 6 September.

Cheering mile in Bad Gastein

From 8.00 am, the centre of Bad Gastein becomes the ‘Cheering Mile’. All trail runners are cheered on with wooden rattles and there is a great supporting programme:

- Straubinger Grand Hotel & Badeschloss Hotel: coffee and cake
- Good Gastein: coffee & cornetti & panini, music
- Merangarten / Gasthaus Jägerhäusl: DJ & children's programme, snacks & drinks
- Sisi Cafè - Bistro - Bar: Affogato to Latte Macchiato
- MONDI Hotel Bellevue: Cheering terrace with a view of the running track in the centre, bar & music
- Hotel Salzburger Hof: Coffee on the Jagdstuben terrace, music
