The outdoor culinary event will take place on 9, 16, 23 and 30 January 2025 from 6 to 9 pm on Hamplplatz and invites you to taste regional cuisine in all its diversity. Top chefs from the Gastein Valley and the Salzburger Land region as well as students from the Bad Hofgastein tourism school will treat guests to classics of rural cuisine, but will also skilfully transform traditional ingredients from the valley into creative dishes with a surprising twist. Local ingredients such as savoury cheese, fine bacon, dried wild herbs, pickled vegetables, salmon trout, pasta made from local eggs and much more play the leading role. Fine spirits and beer from the Gastein Valley are also served. What makes the evenings so special is the presence of gourmet artisans and refiners such as farmers, fish farmers, beekeepers and distillers. Local craftspeople will also be taking part for the first time in 2025 and providing interesting insights into their skills. The products can be purchased directly on site. Local musicians accompany the market:evening and ensure the best atmosphere.
