Location:
Our cosy apartment house welcomes you right at the heart of the beautiful Gasteinertal. Located on the outskirts of Bad Hofgastein, our guests enjoy a peaceful accommodation with best accessibility. By car, navigate from Salzburg towards Bad Hofgastein and find us on the right side before you reach the actual village. We will gladly pick up guests arriving by train from the nearby train station of Bad Hofgastein - simply let us know your estimated arrival time and we will take care of everything else. The village center of Bad Hofgastein, with restaurants, bars, shopping facilities, the famous Alpentherme and the Gastein cable car services (Schlossalmbahn), can comfortably be reached by car or bus in three minutes - or a relaxed 25-30 minute walk.

Accommodation:
Our apartments (24 to 65m2) provide casual comfort for two to four people. Our house does offer a lift - for groceries, strollers, winter sports equipment. Of course, all our living options are equipped with a private bathroom featuring shower and toilet, as well as phone, color TV and free Wi-Fi - even your hair dryer can safely stay home. A private balcony invites you to relax during the day or enjoy a glass of fine wine with the evening sunset. Of course we provide free parking in front of the house for the duration of the stay - you are also welcome to use our backyard lawn for sunbathing or quality time with the kids. For trips and adventures in the surrounding area, we are always happy to help with recommendations and insider-tips - just feel at home!

As recreation and well-being of our guests are our primary concern, we are happy to offer a vacation without pets and welcome you in a smoke-free household.

Summer:
Summer in the valley of Gastein invites you to the bright side of life: Enjoy spectacular hikes through the Alps, discover crystal-clear mountain lakes or tackle mountain bike trails from the comfort of our doorstep. From the village center of Bad Hofgastein, the Gastein cable car services at Schlossalmbahn will ease the ascend even in summer. On top of the mountains you will find extensive hiking trails and traditional cuisine plus home-made bakery in one of the many quaint alpine pastures. From our apartment house you can also reach the breathtaking Gastein waterfall in just two hours of family-friendly hiking (9km) - or a 10-minute drive by car. For a refreshing cool-down and relaxed recreation the famous Alpentherme of Gastein (brand new Alpenkurpark with thermal lakes!) is also accessible in no time: Car 5min, walk 25min - 30 min.

Winter:
In the winter months, the Gastein mountains show their magical side: Snowy winter wonderland all over! The Gastein cable cars (Schlossalmbahn) comfortably take you up the mountains for endless kilometres of carefully prepared pistes, cosy hut atmosphere (food!) and lots of winter sports fun. Apart from the ski-slopes there are toboggan runs (even at night!), snowshoe hikes, scenic cross-country skiing trails and horse-sleigh rides through the Alps of Gastein. If you just can’t get enough of it, the local ski bus will take you to further surrounding ski areas - easily accessible from the nearby bus stop. After an active day in the Gastein mountains, relax in the saunas, steam baths and heated thermal water pools of the Alpentherme at the nearby center of Bad Hofgastein.
