Location of the accommodations:
Our Landhaus Schafflinger enjoys a quiet location, yet still close to the town center of Bad Hofgastein in Salzburger Land. The famous Alpentherme as well as the beautiful Kurpark are just a 3-minute walk away. The Schlossalmbahn lifts and the ski school are likewise barely 3 minutes on foot from where you are staying. In the town center itself, you will find a wide range of shopping opportunities, restaurants and bars.

Description:
The apartment is located on the top floor of our Landhaus, affording you unique views from the balcony of Gastein’s mountain world.

With 2 big bedrooms, 2 baths as well as a separate WC and fully equipped kitchen, the apartment provides ample space for up to 6 people. The combination living-/dining room features a comfy couch, television and big table, inviting you to snuggle, chat and enjoy a tasty meal.

Sit out on the south-facing balcony in the warm midday sun and recharge your batteries, as your children play to their heart’s content on our small, private playground in the garden.

In other words, these accommodations are ideal for families with children. Next to our house, you will also find a soccer field, skate park and a second playground.

You are welcome to park your car in front of the house for free, where it can stay for the rest of your vacation, if you would like. We also have ample space for your winter sports equipment thanks to a separate ski depot provided just for that.

If you wish, we are more than happy to organize daily delivery of fresh breakfast rolls.

Gastein in summer:
Do you want your accommodations to be central, yet in a green neighborhood? In that case, you will be happy to hear that a bike path runs right past our front door, with a minigolf center and tennis court also nearby. The Alpentherme, boasting an outdoor pool filled with thermal water built just last year, invites the kids to splash and play and the parents to stretch out and relax.

Take strolls along the banks of the Gasteiner Ache or hikes on Gastein’s variety-packed hiking paths – here with us, you will have all kinds of opportunities to get to know the beautiful side of Salzburg.

Gastein in winter:
In winter, the cross-country ski trail runs right past our house. Beginners as well as experienced XCers will find perfect conditions. Both for “skating” as well as classic technique. Even your kids will feel right at home on these trails. And on winter days when the snow lies deep on the ground, a romantic snowshoe hike is a virtual must. At the Schlossalmbahn, though also on the Stubnerkogel and in Angertal, you will find several different ski schools and an array of perfectly groomed pistes.

Clearly, now’s the perfect time to head to Gastein Valley!
