The ski tour begins with an ascent along a snow-covered forest road towards the Bockhartseehütte.
Just before the hut, a short steep section must be overcome. After crossing the dam, you reach the Ortberg via a moderately steep ridge. This inconspicuous summit rewards you with a beautiful panorama of the surrounding peaks of the Golberg and Ankogel groups.
The Keeskogel, Ankogel, Hochalmspitze, Hohe Sonnblick, and Hocharn are 3000-meter peaks located in the national park and can be seen from this vantage point on clear days. The descent follows the ascent route towards Nassfeld.
Meeting point: On Monday, February 10, 2025, at the parking lot Nassfeld/Sportgastein.

Level of difficulty: Moderate ski tour that requires very good fitness, with more than 5 hours of total walking time and/or leads through steeper terrain; guided by a certified mountain guide.
Equipment: Ski touring equipment (skis, sticks, skins, crampons, helmet), winter clothing, change of clothes, alpine rucksack with warm drinks and snacks, sun and cold protection;
