The hike starts at the Gasteiner Heilstollen on a wide hiking trail. At the junction at the Hieronymus cross, take the Florentinweg. This hiking trail runs across open meadows at the beginning and takes you up to the Kreuzkogel. From the summit cross, descend to the Knappenbäudelsee lake. Below, the trail leads you onto the Peter Sika Trail and further downhill to the Nassfeld. Return option to the Gasteiner Heilstollen by bus.
