As a peace seeker and nature lover, you are in particularly good hands at the Präau-Gut in Dorfgastein, quite far away from stress factors, in the middle of an energy oasis.
Location of the accommodation
The Präau-Gut is located one kilometer south of Dorfgastein, in the middle of untouched Salzburg nature. Despite the phenomenal quiet location, it is only 1 kilometer to the ski area Dorfgastein-Großarl & 8 kilometers to the ski area Schlossalm-Stubnerkogel as well as to the Alpentherme Bad Hofgastein.
Description
The Präau-Gut is home to an apartment - Gamskarlblick - 50 m2 and thus offers space for 2 to 5 people each. Arriving in the apartment, the first thing you will notice is the woodwork, which has been carefully crafted by the master carpenter. Be it kitchen cabinets, ceiling linings or shelves, everything seems new and cleanly worked in. The rooms are all furnished in a friendly manner, warm colors have been chosen for the upholstery, both of the sitting area and the sofa. Here, homey atmosphere meets rustic flair and creates a feeling of home - and that on vacation! On request, you can also buy home-made products such as jams, liqueurs, farmhouse bread, alpine cheese, eggs and much more directly from the Rieser family. In the apartment you are also equipped with a modern kitchen, including refrigerator, oven and dishwasher, microwave, coffee filter machine, freezer, toaster, kettle & WLAN.
In the Präau-Gut there is also a double room (without board) with private bathroom, minibar, TV, WLAN & kettle.
Summer in Gastein
For hiking enthusiastic guests of the Präau-Gut the hike to the Präau-Hochalm is just perfect: Far away from any inconvenience of modern times, where not even a lift goes, you will find the over 150 years old Hochalm. After a hike of 2.5 - 3 hours, you can fortify yourself here with a rustic alpine snack before starting the return hike.
Winter in Gastein
The Ski amadé areas Dorfgastein-Großarl & Schlossalm-Stubnerkogel are in close proximity. If you want to try an activity away from the pistes and cross-country skiing trails, the summit of the Fulseck is the place to be: you can book guided snowshoe hikes on a newly created snowshoe trail, which is especially suitable for beginners and nature lovers.

Lage der Unterkunft
Das Präau-Gut liegt einen Kilometer südlich von Dorfgastein, mitten in der unberührten Salzburger Natur. Trotz der phänomenalen Ruhelage, sind es nur 1 Kilometer zum Skigebiet Dorfgastein-Großarl & 8 Kilometer zum Skigebiet Schlossalm-Stubnerkogel sowie zur Alpentherme Bad Hofgastein.
Beschreibung
Das Präau-Gut beheimatet ein Appartement – Gamskarlblick – 50 m2 und bietet damit je 2 bis 5 Personen Platz. Im Appartement angekommen, fällt als erstes wohl die vom Tischlermeister mit Sorgfalt gefertigte Holzarbeit auf. Seien es Küchenschränke, Deckenbekleidungen oder Ablagen, alles wirkt neu und sauber eingearbeitet. Die Zimmer sind allesamt freundlich eingerichtet, für die Polsterung, sowohl von Sitzecke als auch Sofa, sind warme Farben gewählt worden. Hier trifft heimelige Atmosphäre auf urigen Flair und erzeugt ein Gefühl von zu Hause – und das im Urlaub! Auf Wunsch können Sie auch selbsterzeugte Produkte wie Marmeladen, Liköre, Bauernbrot, Almkäse, Eier u.v.m. direkt bei Familie Rieser kaufen. Im Appartement sind Sie zudem mit einer modernen Küche ausgestattet, inklusive Kühlschrank, Backofen und Geschirrspüler, Mikrowelle, Kaffefiltermaschiene, Gefrierfach, Toaster, Wasserkocher & WLAN.
Im Präau-Gut gibt es auch noch ein Doppelzimmer (ohne Verpflegung) mit eigenem Bad, Minibar, Fernsehr, WLAN & Wasserkocher.
Sommer in Gastein
Für wanderbegeisterte Gäste des Präau-Guts bietet sich die Wanderung zur Präau-Hochalm geradezu an: Weit abseits jeglicher Unannehmlichkeit der Neuzeit, dort, wo nicht einmal ein Lift hinfährt, befindet sich die über 150 Jahre alte Hochalm. Nach einer Wanderung von 2,5 – 3 Stunden, können Sie sich hier mit einer urigen Almjause stärken, bevor Sie die Retourwanderung antreten.
Winter in Gastein
Die Ski amadé Gebiete Dorfgastein-Großarl & Schlossalm-Stubnerkogel befinden sich in nächster Nähe. Sollten Sie eine Aktivität abseits von Pisten und Loipen ausprobieren wollen, sind Sie am Gipfel des Fulseck genau richtig: Auf einem neu angelegten Schneeschuhtrail können Sie hier geführte Schneeschuhwanderungen buchen, die besonders für Anfänger und Naturliebhaber geeignet sind.
