Music enjoyment in the valley and on the alpine pastures - that is the Klassik:Sommer in the Gasteinertal! Live music and Gastein have a long tradition. That's why this music highlight in Salzburger Land must not be missing from Gastein's calendar of events in 2023. This year, the Salzburg Philharmonic Orchestra once again has concerts in a class of their own in store. Under the direction of conductor Elisabeth Fuchs, the popular orchestra presents music to dream, dance and rave about - in the Kursaal in Bad Hofgastein. The programme of the Klassik:Sommer will once again be colourful and full of joie de vivre.
In Gastein, music has long been as much a part of summer as the enchanting scenery of Gastein's mountain world and its enormous range of outdoor activities.
Orchester:Concert at the Opening Concert
The Philharmonie Salzburg opens the Classik:SUmmer 2022 in Bad Hofgastein. The Philharmonie Salzburg under Elisabeth Fuchs will enchant symphonically on Friday, 27 May, under the motto "Best of Hollywood".
The performers are passionate about what they do, and you will see: Their joy in making music is contagious. Music touches and connects people - you can experience this for yourself at the opening concert of the Classik:Summer in the Gasteinertal.
Spa Concerts, just the way we love them
The Kurorchester has been giving concerts in Bad Gastein during the summer months since 1988: it continues a long-standing musical tradition and is now considered a rarity in Austria.
Under the artistic direction of Klaus Vinatzer, the Kurorchester Bad Gastein plays for you! The concert programme includes operettas and musical melodies, film music and classical dance music. The concerts take place in the Vienna Hall of the Grand Hotel de l'Europe and in the Concert Pavilion in the Merangarten. There are up to four concerts a week, from the opening concert to the Matinee concert, the afternoon concert and the evening concert.
