‘With Paul Pizzera & Otto Jaus, we are honoured to have two of the best and most popular musicians Austria currently has to offer. The ‘Comedian Rhapsody’ programme is a multi-faceted musical performance and is based on their album of the same name, which covers a wide range of topics - from humorous observations of everyday life to profound social reflections. In recent years, Paul Pizzera and Otto Jaus have established themselves as one of the most successful formations on the Austrian music scene. Their repertoire encompasses various musical genres, from catchy pop melodies to rock sounds. The artists are known for their eloquent, pointed lyrics and their authentic stage presence. With millions of audio and video streams, numerous chart hits and platinum awards, Pizzera & Jaus have an impressive track record. As a special highlight, visitors can look forward to a performance by Austrian singer Avec in the supporting programme. The 24-year-old Upper Austrian has been writing her own songs since the age of 12 and landed her first hit in 2015 with the song ‘Granny’. After several nominations, she won the Amadeus Award in the Alternative category in 2019. She landed a viral hit with her song ‘Under Water’ in 2018.
